On Sunday May 11th at the Meiryukan Saitama club we first worked on koho ukemi. Note* now part of the 7th, 6th and 5th kyu kids test. We practiced to fall in the direction we will be thrown. Don`t twist out. Big step back, chin in, hit and absorb, and most importantly, stay relaxed.
We then went into an orange belt technique - shomen uchi shomen iriminage 2. The points were - big circular pivot over 180degrees, shift your weight, look up, and don`t be late with the hand on the throw.
